I'm not sure how many generations have passed since I was last active (joined in 2007, stopped 2010). Back then some people even considered 2007ers not to be oldtimers but now that was almost a decade ago! I used to make a lot of unfinished animations that had too much effort put into the backgrounds and colour schemes (probably why I never got round to finishing any).

The site doesn't seem too active these days - but I'm still pleasantly surprised it still exists. This website means a lot to me. Without it I would have never met two very important people in my life who used to be on here back then too.

I'm 21 now, coming on to 22. I had a career in IT for a while but now I am studying professional musicianship at university. Guitar was the reason I stopped animating and it's been the hobby that has stuck since, really. Was in a wedding/function band as a bassist for a while, and wrote music for flash games, but now doing my own project and seeing how that goes.

Who else is still around? What's been happening in your lives?

Hello and Welcome back. I Haven't catch seen your name in DDC past 14 years.

Ayyy, I remember seeing you around on the old DD. Are you the guy that made that one fish animation, or am I thinking of someone else?

I'm really glad to see you back on DD Sway! I believe you were a Myfiles member on the old site. Did you happen to make an animation about a stick figure in a zoo? I think it was in one of the DDCs. Welcome back man!

Yes! Put so much effort into that, it was pre-pivot 4! Each frame took 20 minutes (!5 on coffee) and had to move over 50 .stks for each one :P I hope it's on my old laptop at home.

Haha yeah, I think in my head it was some kinda jungle but it definitely was a bit of an odd environment. Some people thought it was a sewer. It was in DDC7 - had no idea how it got in because it was rushed in IT class when i was 13 and made no sense at all!

Really wanna at least submit something for DDC13 over these holidays!

Hey Brandon, it's good to see you back! I remember the name Sway, and the same animation Gary did, with the fish and the cave. You used to give updates on it a lot. I was named DemonKilo back then, but you might have still been around when I changed my name to Raymond.
