Yes, copy and paste selected figures. This is already done. Pivot 4.2 beta will be out this year hopefully. I plan to make a video of the new features this weekend.

Can't wait for the new version! I'm waiting for that feature so badly (cheesygrin

You can look for some opinions about it in this topic

I thought of something that could be neat with the stick editor. Would it be possible to save a custom stick that has more than one part as a whole stick, colour and all?

Ex: You create a torso of a stick figure, and colour it green
You then create the legs, and colour them blue
You join the two parts together, and you could save them as one stick, with the colours included.

No, because it Pivot 5 I plan to support multi coloured figures anyway. Also in 4.2 you can copy and paste your joined figures, so you can store your full body figures in a 1 frame piv file.

I can't stress enough how much of a life saver the next version will be.

An animation I made and saved refused to open today.

It looks like your piv file is corrupted. I don't know what causes it but there are many ways a file can become corrupted. It may not be caused by Pivot itself. Is it a large file size? You can try sending it to me to try to fix but I've not had much luck trying to fix these expand stream errors in the past.

i once fixed a really old animation of mine that was corrupted by leaving a small rock on my enter button while i went to go do something else so that it scrolled through the messages and after about 15 minutes the animation opened. everything was fine apart from the last frame, which i deleted. saved it as a separate file, it opened fine. however, i'm pretty sure i made the animation in pivot 3 so i don't know if it would work the same

I know that the thread is out of date but I also have an idea . How about an online session ? If you want to animate in pairs , one the online session starts with his partner and simply animated together .

It's called Teamviewer.

Um I just found this and im not sure if this is a thing already but is there a way that every time I start a new animation I can have something that will instead of having the default figure each time, it uses a .stk that I have already so I dont have to always like delete him and then upload the one that I use more? Just an idea that could save time for some people, like I guess a prefix or how ever you would word it

That would actually be a really neat little feature. I know it's like 2 clicks to get your stick on screen regardless, but I'd really like this feature.
