Even if he murdered your son, you still shouldn't beat him up, that's against the law still.

Yeah, man. You're sick. Honestly, what would you do if someone has killed your family and you can actualy reach him with your barehands to take revenge of your family's death. The fact that you'll never see them again because of a murderer will make you so angry. So angry that your angre will blind you to the point where you can kill that person brutally. Against the law? Well screw the law if it's for family. You would probably do the same thing just because he's menaced your family. Even if you're jailed, you're jailed with honor because you tried to defend your family which is a noble thing to do. Stop thinking so subjectively about it. The fact that his son has been raped is sick, and not doing anything about it is even more sick.

Yes, but there's no court in the world which would charge a man for beating up his child's murderer after just witnessing it. The judge would have to be severely retarded.

Also if they're trespassing, you have a given right to use a reasonable amount of force to protect yourself from harm.

You know what, I'm pretty sure if the father was charged and sent to prison, there'd be an equal number of people in an uproar about how unjust the law is.

I agree w/ MCToast because if you break a fight up the cops will put you into a choke hold until you run out and breath and die

I can understand why the father would beat that rapist up. I would probably react in a similar fashion. However, I don't feel comfortable supporting an exceedingly violent act no matter how justified it may seem. A few intense punches would have been alright but this looks like a lot more than that judging by the disfigurement of the face.

I hope things work out okay for the father and son. That must have been quite terrifying for them to go through, specifically for the kid though.

It's really a morality thing guys. If someone raped your son, you wouldn't just stand back and say "oh, can't hit him, it's against the law". The natural thing anyone would do would be to interfere and protect your family.
