Sounds about right, since Quarantine is the american bastard of REC. There's supposedly some plot deviations though so I hope the story hasn't been overly spoiled for you.

The Voices - pretty stupid but not unwatchable
Big Eyes - genuinely interesting story held back by cartoonish directing
Starry Eyes - stylistically pleasing but not much else
Insidious - decent horror up until the silly third act
Sinister - pleasantly scary and i like the idea
Escape from Alcatraz - classic escape film with charismatic performances
Scent of a Woman - small in scope but huge in character, fun drama

Finished watching the original 3 X-men films. I definetly prefered X3 over the other 2 but they were great too in my opinion.
Gonna get watching the spin-offs over the next week or so.

Also finished Django Unchained. Quite entertaining. I really like Quentin Tarantino's style of directing, and the action sequences were brilliant.

Really? The last 5 minutes of Interstellar was completely rushed and emotionless to me.

I would have to agree with this, the ending was like the worst part of the entire movie.

Book was great. Read it for Science Fiction my freshman year. The movie was pretty meh for me. Although, I give them credit for having a tolerable pre-pubescent protagonist.

The movie was mainly meh because it couldn't show Ender's personal thoughts

Yeah, but you could argue that with any rendition. LOTR(original trilogy), Black Hawk Down, and Hunger Games (just to use some examples, obviously there are plenty more) were all pretty great films imo and those are adaptations of books (BHD being a real event, but still was a book adaptation).

I honestly thought the second one was more meh. The Smaug and Bilbo scene dragged on for far too long, and I hardly recall anything specific about it since the whole thing was pretty monotonous. At least the battle itself in the 3rd one was somewhat redeeming. I suppose that's what you get when you split a book into 3 films.

Bard should be dead x10 though like no Smaug burnt him to infinity, so really everyone should be dead

Went to see the Avengers yesterday and it was pretty fucking dope.

The story wasn't that intriguing of course, but it was everything I could have expected and wanted.

Spoiler:
The Vision is pretty lame though, he was overpowered as fuck, but they just gave him barely any time on camera to make it seem like he wasn't an insta-victory.
