Well, not really a movie. Been watching Staff vs Regulars recently, I'm really impressed. I love how a different style can be mixed in the same video and storyline that was really relaxing to watch, it's unique. Good job to the animators and the flasher, you guys made my day.

I watched The Good Dinosaur recently and it was quite good! I think people overlooked it last year due to how great Inside Out was. In The Good Dinsoaur, it has a touching story and I found it had parallels with older Disney movies with how dark it got at times. The environments in this movie are absolutely insane. It looks like what I imagine games will look like in 10-15 years. I highly recommend this movie.

I'm looking forward to Finding Dory as well Sifter. It seems better than I imagined it would be. Dory's an entertaining character so it should be good.

I watched Finding Dory yesterday (very good btw), and at the end I heard Hank say "all right you little shrimps" and I was shocked because disney basically sneaked "all right you little shits" into a kids' movie. Kinda how "all right you cluckers" from The Good Dinosaur was basically "all right you fuckers".

Speaking of quality movies (I hope), I just saw The Witch, fuck was that a good movie. Tied with that or 10 Cloverfield Lane for my favorite movie of the year, but I still need to see Neon Demon, Green Room, and Swiss Army Man before I can say that for sure.

A surprisingly decent flick that I saw the other day was The Shallows. The trailer looked godawful, thought it was going to be absolutely terrible. Came out of the theater very surprised at how good it was, pretty tense and well paced. The ending got a little cartooney and ridiculous but I thought it was fine for what it was.

The Neon Demon was absolutely fantastic, would highly recommend. Though it's quite morbid and a bit too much for a lot of people, it hit all the right spots for me.
If you like beautiful animation I'd would also recommend The Red Turtle. Fantastic movie honestly.

I might see both of these in cinema again.

Yesterday night was opening night for Suicide Squad. I went to go see it after work with a few colleagues. We got off at 11 and the movie started at 12, so that was pretty ideal. It obviously didn't live up to the hype, as would be impossible, but I still really enjoyed it. It was pretty funny and easy to watch. Also Margot Robbie is a fine-ass Harley Quinn.
Spoiler:
I really hope there will be a Batman movie with the new Joker and Harley Quinn. Back into the wacky olskool Batman style, where the villains are over-the-top.

I hear it's not so good. But it could be fun. :)

I seen Finding Dory a couple of days ago. Was very fun, felt like watching Finding Nemo all over again. XD

In hindsight, the only reason I liked it was probably because I was really high. But oh well.

Just watched Your Name (Kimi no na wa), which is apparently the highest grossing movie in Japan now, beating Spirited Away.
And I can honestly say it deserves that spot. I'm usually not that much into anime, although I am a Ghibli fan, but this was one emotional journey.
Although it was far from flawless, it captivated me in a way not many films do. I'd highly recommend giving it a watch, I'm all melancholy now.
