the show has actual depth and emotion, which is a lot better than certain other animes that are also for children. No, it doesn't really compare to most anime's that are focused on a mature audience, but for what it is, it's pretty fucking good. Also, it has pretty much the best animation on Nickelodeon.

I never watched anime, just all those facial expressions annoy me.
But...
It's been, like, 3-4 years since i've watched anime (Yu-Gi-Oh). The wierd thing is though that I never even knew it was anime at the time, just a cartoon.
Maybe I might give it a go. I've been looking for something with some depth and character for a while now.

I was saying it has a good depth for a childrens cartoon, but if you want to watch an actual deep anime with character you should watch something else instead, like Kino's Journey (Kino no Tabi). Kino's Journey is fucking awesome.

after jake had kids in adventure time it got too weird for me

most of the shows listed in here i watched as a kid. i still try to watch reruns of them when i can. however, in addition to those:

invader zim
grim adventures of billy and mandy
foster's home for imaginary friends
samurai jack
rocko's modern life
angry beavers
ren and stimpy

those are ones off the top of my head but the list could go on endlessly if i looked on wikipedia or some shit. and of course i watch a lot of anime but i'm guessing this is restricted to western tv so yeah

MCToast wrote:No seriously, I tried to watch the show, but it was literally a children's show, for ages of 5 to 10. The voice of jake(?) was annoying, everything was horrible and random (I do like random, but this was just awful.)

So it's an awful show and I don't see how you guys can like it? I even like mlp a lot better and that's something.

I also don't like avatar, it's long, boring, not funny, trying to be an anime, etc. All good facts.

Thats a fine argument, the only thing I don't like is when someone gives a long paragraph on why they like the show, or appreciate it or something, and you just come in with "Nah thats fucking dumb"

Seriously, no hate or anything. Just.. Lighten up man :P Say something nice.

-Adventure Time
-Avatar: Last Airbender
-Legend of Korra (Just started Book 2 today)
-Attack on Titan
-Spongebob Squarepants
-Teen Titans
-Regular Show on occasion

Those are the ones I've watched/revisited more recently.

On a side note, if any of you fucks watch Uncle Grandpa, burn to death. Or life. Just burn.

gumball is pretty much the only show that carries cartoon network. uncle grandpa and all those other shows aren't amusing at all (teen titans go! isn't too bad but it gets kind of annoying sometimes)

I watch a lot of anime now so I guess that counts?

Other than that, I really, really liked Courage the Cowardly Dog; Ed, Edd, n' Eddy; Futurama; and Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and Foster's Home for Imaginary friends and OG Spongebob.

There's an unwritten rule to always watch everything and anything in it's original language. It keep shit authentic, also Hermes sounds ike a robot in the English dub, so fuck that. Subtitles for life.

Regular Show is pretty awesome. I like that the main characters are actually all adults (for the most part). The two main characters are both 20 and work for the park manager, Benson (a talking gum-ball machine).
