25 "Unbelievable" Things Americans Believe

Didn't know if debate section or here, but ayy
phpBB [video]

I want to know what everyone here thinks since a solid portion of the forum is not American. Are some of these beliefs or notions really that ludicrous? Maybe it's just me, but believing in ghosts or thinking aliens may have visited doesn't seem entirely insane. Also, it annoys me that the content exclusively pertains to Americans. Seeing as I am American, I suppose that makes sense for me to me pestered. Just to add, the "I DONT WANT TO BE AN AMERICAN ANYMORE GUYS PLEASE ACCEPT ME IM HATING ON AMERICA LIKE YOU" pricks piss me off. However, if you genuinely dislike the U.S. for feasible reasons, then I have no complaints.

tl;dr watch this and tell me what ya think

what a biased, generalizing and over-simplified list, it's just garbage clickbait

how could something so pathetic spark an actual debate?

Sounds like the beginning of a debate.

I suppose it struck me as odd since they normally don't upload bullshit like this(although their videos have become increasingly less informative). Also, I think I'm too used to overly infatuated fanbases that defend their beloved regardless of reason, so maybe it was too much (or too little) to assume someone here might have an opposing opinion. Either way, it seems to be split in the comments section.

This is all just based on people's opinions. It's nothing, "Unbelievable." I bet there are tons of people outside of the US that believe some of the same stuff as in this video.

Some of these aren't really 'unbelievable', such as the one about the government hiding information about UFO's.

But this is just stupid to generalise this to Americans, you will find people all over the world that believe some of these things.

The stupid thing is how many of these are things that can't be proven right or wrong. For example, the one about changing the weather is simply speculation, and could be correct depending on how things progress. And whether aliens exist or not can't be decided without actual proof. Those people don't have "unbelievable" ideas, simply different opinions than the video creator.

Okay, I'm American, so I may be biased, but what a load of horseshit this list is.

1 in 4 believe in reincarnation... well someone might have to break the news to the majority of the population of India and the likes. I don't believe in it but it's a respectable belief and it's certainly not limited to America. That's just one the many complaints I have about this list but I'd rather not type up a whole rant.

How many Americans believe all of these statistics are real?

This is some buzzfeed teir wank. Most "list" videos are, generally. I MIGHT give the pass to Danger Dolan and WatchMojo but even then they're stepping on pretty fucking thin ice.

You definitely started a debate, BUT I DON'T THINK IT'S ON WHAT YOU WANTEEEEEEEEEED.

Yeah, Danger Dolan is likable for the most part. Also, I think Dark5 and Hybrid Librarian are alright as well. Fuck alltime10s.
