Update. I love Phantom of the Opera and the main theme is one of my favourite songs, so I tried to learn it by ear. Thanks for listening.

Thanks, I got that feeling while playing it. It's a pretty laid back song.

Also update. I started learning this piece last night and I thought I'd have a go at recording it. The second season to Oregairu has a pretty decent soundtrack but the ED theme gets overlooked so I wanted to play it. I learned it by ear but hopefully it's accurate enough

Decided to do another piano cover. This time I had a go at arranging the ending theme to Plastic Memories. Thanks for listening.

Re: Alca's Piano Covers - Clannad OST - Piano Cover

Postby Alca » Fri Jun 12, 2015 6:18 pm

Decided to do a piano cover of this nice little piece. It's pretty simple and I learned it by ear in less than an hour. Even though it's not complex or anything I still think it's pretty beautiful, like most of the music from Clannad. Thanks for listening.

Re: Alca's Piano Covers - Oregairu Season 1 ED - Hello Alone

Postby Alca » Mon Jun 29, 2015 9:26 am

Update. I did a cover of the ED theme to the second season of Oregairu a short while ago, so I thought I'd have a go at playing the ED from the first season too. I kept the arrangement pretty simple but thanks for listening.

Re: Alca's Piano Covers - Dearly Beloved Improvisation #2

Postby Alca » Thu Jul 09, 2015 4:08 pm

Another update. This is the 2nd improvisation of this piece I've done. Every time I come to play it I think of new things to add so I thought I'd do another recording. This is one of the more difficult arrangements I've tried so there's one or two mistakes, but hopefully not too many. Thanks for listening.

Very good. :)
Very soothing.

I was wondering, Alca, have you ever tried a faster piece? Like and action piece? Nothing too intense but could you do it? It would be a great test of your abilities.

Thanks. I could probably do a faster piece, only problem is I haven't really come across many that I feel like playing. I mainly play video game or anime OST's but a lot of them are fairly relaxed. If you have any suggestions I'd be happy to check them out though.

I did another Zelda cover. Decided to play Song of Storms. Also RIP Satoru Iwata, sad news.
