Guitar Cover

Postby Luke » Sat Jun 11, 2016 7:04 pm

Hey guys,

This is the first cover I've ever recorded. I've been trying to do it before but it never came out right. I messed the solo up a wee bit but aside from that I think it's pretty good. Please let me know what you think (smile

For some reason it won't post properly, so here's the link:

Can't hear the song clearly but nice cover man :), it sounds clean. Do you use pedal effect though? Also what song is that? (sorry kinda curious.)

Thanks!! Nah I don't have a pedal, it's just through my amp (Line 6 Spider IV 30). The song is Devil On My Shoulder by Billy Talent https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkODPAqcxvQ awesome band from Canada

Thanks! Guitar pedals are similar to piano pedals but give you a whole lot more control over the sound. It's like a piano is a Mac and a guitar is a PC. You get two pedals with a piano and that's it, with guitar you can have multiple pedals (usually just one though) that feed through different pedal boards. So if you're playing a really heavy song with a lot of distortion but you have a part which is clean you can do that with the pedal rather than changing it on your amp itself.
