Yeah my parents are pretty normal for the most part.

They pressure me with school and stuff because I don't really try but still do very well. I always get the oh well you will have to study because it only gets harder..yeah well still waiting.

I have average parents. They went through a divorce about 6-7 years ago. I remember listening to them yell at each other all night when my dad would come home from work. A few nights my dad put holes in the wall and tore the house apart. That was ages ago though. They're both re-married now and act a lot more mature/passive. I'm just glad they are both doing well and found someone that can make them happy. And they're always there for me, so that's a big plus.

Once my mother got so mad at me she had a wooden ruler and it was kinda thick, she grabbed it and broke it in my back. Also since she was never the social type and always spent her time studying sometimes she can be too demanding. But she's a good mother, my only wish would be that she wouldn't try to stick her christianity down my throat most of the time.

I can't stand this either. Parents try and shove their beliefs down their children's throats, it bothers the hell out of me and it never works either, they'll only revolt.

This is reminding me of this Christianity Elementary school that I live close to, they literally hypnotise the kids there and mainly just teach kids their religion instead of the normal math, english, history, and science stuff
