You don't see them logged in thanks to the staff. As for what they are, well, they seem like a regular member with a fishy username that sonmetimes post random stuff from whatever site that have no relation to any subject(e.g long ass text about food recipes)

Okay but what about the period and word that says bot? Why would they want to make their purpose so obvious?

If they say they're a bot, they likely have a different purpose. Probably there are things that can be moderated by bots easily, so they use them for it to have less work or something. I'm not sure of their purpose either, so someone else might be able to give a better answer.

When a username says it's a bot it's not a spambot, that's all I know for sure.
