Hey everyone! Wasn't sure where to put this, I figured spam was best :P

Sorry I've been away for so long, alot of stuff has been happening in my life, I've moved a few times but am now settled back in California. To be honest I haven't really been visiting the forum at all, I don't have much of an excuse other than I've basically just drifted away.

Anyways, for anyone who may be curious what's been happening, a while ago I posted that I've been doing some freelance work and finally landed a big contract for making Photoshop Tutorials. So for the past few months I've been writing, editing, and recording my voice for videos for a tutorial company in India. So far I'm making two courses with them, Beginner's Photoshop and Advanced Photoshop.

I just finished the Photoshop Beginner's course and now it's up on their website : http://goo.gl/6edDK3
The course is over 8 hours long and I think it's all free at the moment, all you have to do is register and click enroll in the course.

I'm not super proud of the whole thing, it's just been to pay the bills. I've never made tutorials before this, so I've pretty much been winging it the whole time. The company has been great to me but they never offer criticism or feedback, they just ask for more videos and move on. In the beginning they gave me a list of things they want to be taught, and I've done the rest. Honestly most of this stuff can be found with a couple youtube searches.

Anyways, if you feel like listening to me ramble about photoshop for over 8 hours, give it a go ;)

Yeah, I think they may be a little more concerned with quantity rather than quality. They must've edited in all those graphics in the intro video, because mine just had an image on photoshop. And yeah, 8 hours, I try to keep the videos really slow because most other tutorials just go too fast for people actually trying to learn.

Yeah haha Matthew is my legal name, Austin is technically just a nickname but it's what I use for my day-to-day.

Sounds accurate yeah, I sort of lost control over my life for a while so I guess I felt pretty helpless. I'm back in the States now with my own place so things are looking up so far. We need to watch more Lynch films for sure ;)
