I've smoked a lot of weed and some salvia. On salvia I watched the tree in front of me become bright pink and fold in on itself infinitely. The tree was my brain, and it was full of CD-roms. Then I found out my spirit animal was the electric blanket from the Brave Little Toaster, which I always kinda assumed, but now I know it's true. So yeah, good times.

I haven't had any real experience with drugs, but when I got my knee surgery, they put me on some really strong painkillers that made me all woozy. But all I remember from that was seeing everything in bright colours, and feeling incredibly happy.

The only hope for me ever doing drugs is if they become legal, but I doubt that will happen in my lifetime. I imagine people in the future will be able to alter their experiences with drugs. They'll know so much about the mind that they'll have drug trips we can't even imagine now, and be able to alter their perceptions of reality so that hours stretch into days, days into weeks, weeks into months. I'm almost sure we'll never get that in our lifetimes.

I once took an ibuprofen for a headache...

I'd never do drugs. I have enough lung problems without having to dump smoke in them, and I like to treat my body with the respect that I'd hope other people would treat my body with. If I hurt my lungs any more, I won't be able to scuba dive. I just got my lung capacity back up to the point where I can hold my breath for a minute without turning beet-red.

I also really don't want to end up in jail.

I do, however, think weed should be legalized in the US. Weed isn't for me, but I don't think it should be illegal. Too many people in jail for minor drug-related charges, the economic benefits - there's a myriad of reasons weed should be legalized. It just isn't for me.

My parents, however, grew up in the '70s. They smoked a lot of weed in their day. My dad loves to talk about it, but my mom blames my dad.

I do love psytrance, though. I hate drug culture associated with music. If you need drugs to enjoy the music, that's a sign that the music is falling short. Creation by Invisible Reality is great.

Yeah, but smoke is bad for lungs. I have half of the alveoli in my left lung ruptured, and I really can't take any damage to my lungs.

Just saying, but there's other ways to do it. You don't have to inhale it.
