Am I the only one who thinks that you should only need 50 posts to start a new topic in the requests thread? :|

Example: If someone makes a post, asking other people to request stuff from him in that thread, you should be able to post your requests there, regardless of post length.

But if you want to make a new post, requesting to just everyone in general to see what comes up, that's when the 50 post requirement should come in.


That's just what I think, I'm sure someone is gonna come up with some sort of reason why this isn't allowed, but what does everyone else think?

This is my first time on a forum, I'm not sure how big signatures have to be etc, I tend to avoid places like this because they annoy and bore me

I know it's bumped down to 50, that's okay for new threads, I'm just saying if someone else makes a thread there asking people to requests sticks from them, you shouldn't need 50 posts to make a request in that specific thread because the poster is asking for requests anyway.

To be fair, assuming someone knows how to resize an image doesn't seem that odd to me, so a PM that asks your to make it smaller doesn't seem like such a preposterous request.

50 posts is just to prevent people joining here to request sticks and .piv files.

It's not a solid limit, right?

As it has already been stated, you only need 50 posts to make a request. You've only got another 35 posts to make with your current post count. The reason the rule was put in place was so that people didn't come to the site for a bunch of sticks and then leave. It would be awful if people had to work on a bunch of sticks for people, only for the people to leave afterwards.
