Afro Samurai

Postby _Chris » Sun Sep 27, 2015 10:44 am

Well I haven't been active last week and this is why. Participated in a zBrush workshop where we would sculpt a character.
Yeh well I chose Afro Samurai because I just really love his design. That said we only had 3 days time so there is actually very little detail which you will notice in the closeup.
also tried to make the eyes afterwards but they looked weird so I just left them white :P

Link to some more renders here. But they are widescreen fullHD so they don't fit on this forum layout :/

I don't know what to say other than how impressive your render looks. To someone who has no experience with such things anyway.

I just rendered a small modelling project today that I felt pretty good about, and now I feel like total shit. Nice job, man.

That looks fucking sweet. I don't know much about modelling, but the lighting in this looks great. (I'm pretty sure rendering the image puts all the lighting in for you, but it still looks cool.) His hair looks like jello/water though. I know his hair should be one big blob, but the way you modelled it makes it look like some form of liquid bubble.
