It's not centered, but I'll take it because it looks really good regardless. Good job.

I don't see how it was bad form. He still did say it was really good anyway. I could understand if he just said it wasn't centered but it looks like he still appreciated the effort that was put in for him. People should be able to offer advice or criticism on things, regardless if it was made for them or not.

If he wanted it centered, he should have specified or provided a centered image. As someone who has actually drawn things for people on commission, I cannot express how infinitely annoying it is to have someone criticise your work because you didn't do something that they hadn't specified for you to do. I know he said it was good, but it doesn't really change the fact that he criticised what he got based on something he didn't specify, but whatever. I don't want to be kicking up a stink so I'll leave it there.

Now that you mention it, it was actually inconsiderate of him not to specify for it to be centered. I understand how frustrating it would be to do commissions for someone with them never being happy. I've done very few commissions in the past, but when I have they've always tried to micro-manage whatever I'm doing after I've done it. When you do something for someone, and then they say how you didn't do something when they didn't even mention that, I get how it can be bad form.

I guess this was just a total misunderstanding between the two of us. Sorry about starting an argument there.
