Hello I drew a thing.

Spent a lot of time on this. Haven't drawn in forever and I've always been pretty bad at it, so I thought I'd try practicing poses. Hopefully I can get some more done.

That's looking very nice Strider!
Just one thing... The calfs seem to a little large, or the space between the thigh and calf and behind the knee-cap is too skinny

Other than that I'd love to see some more full bodies from you. ;)

Thanks, you might be right, I'll keep that in mind. I intend to draw another one today, I'll try to incorporate smaller calves. But the shapes and stuff are mostly alright, right? Do the feet look acceptable? I didn't even want to try drawing hands, that's a whole other battle for another time.

Drew another one. Not quite as happy with it, but I also spent way less time on it.

Yeah, I know it's a good idea to do it like that, but I've never had the patience. I usually just piece together reference pictures, since my ideal drawing style would be to be able to put down lines that form a good shape without having to analyze the shape before-hand. If that makes sense? Thanks either way man, no worries.

i get what u mean but that usually happens after u get past the structural phase and u can eventually visualize it in your head without having to draw those things out. that's how i understand it at least after practicing it for awhile now. takes time

for now though i'll just say the body's legs look a little too long and too big compared to her upper body. also the pinch between where the rib cage and the torso meet is kinda sharp. think of that shape as a bean instead of an hourglass

Thanks, that's quite helpful. I'll keep it in mind, much appreciated.
