Man, I'm learning how to draw, and guidelines would be fuckin' marevellous if I could do them. Any little tutorials for them?

i have some (admittedly pretty shitty guidelines) somewhere in my thread in this forum
but basically you just draw lines so that things that should be at the same height or slant actually end up that way
the most obvious being the eyes and ears on a face but you just put them where they'll be useful to you
i.e. if you're drawing a still life and the pears are at the same height as the apples you could draw a line there

i probably explained that real shitty but w/e

This guy is one of the people that really inspire me to draw. Just the way he draws expressions is just so fun to look at. You guys should take a look!

I haven't quite finished this yet, but I thought it was kinda worth showing it cuz I can't be arsed to finish it at this moment... so it might get put to the forgotten pile lol

Make the sky colour darker, otherwise the sparks look like they shouldn't be there

Also I'm not sure if this is just because it's unfinished but you should really have something occupying the very left side, and probably include some more background otherwise it looks like you have a lot of empty space you didn't know what to do with

sorry if harsh :PPPP
