Thanks for the comments guys! Sadly, there was no gold to be found. Better luck next time I guess. Also update.

Ear study:

Yeah, I decided to go through the whole human anatomy bit by bit, starting at the facial features and then expanding from there.

I saw the ear as a fetus at first.... O.o

Honestly, I suck at any percise-detail cnc. I can do big picture ones cnc pretty good tho.

That tree is pretty damn cool. I kind of dislike its roots, but besides that it looks really nice.

Re: O look, art class results (11/23)

Update!

Symbolic self portraits:
Here's an explanation for those interested:
Spoiler:
The tree was symbolic for growth without a goal. It doesn't have an image it will want to grow to and that's what I want to become, but all my insecurities are holding me back from thinking that way. In the second piece, the letter T symbolizes the way I think and have become holding me back as well. I know, it's deep shit.

1:

So this was for art class. I only got to make the tree into something actually good because of time limits, so the quality's overall not amazing. I used charcoal for the shading and a 2B pencil for the normal lines.

This is my second take on the symbolic self portrait. We had to make a caligraphy of our first name's first letter earlier and that thing stuck in the ghoul's head is my letter T. I then added the text (which feels horribly out of place now), because the assignment was to make it into more of a poster format. I might redo it to get everything in place sometime. In this drawing I used mikron pens for the outlines, charcoal for the ghoul shading and pencil for the letter shading.

Modern Day Communication WIP:

Looking to finish it this weekend, otherwise through the course of next week. Sort of happy with it so far, I feel like I'm progressing.

That is actually really creative. It's a great idea and I think you managed to pull it off well. Do you plan to draw the rest of the person in the background or were you going to have the finished piece show just his arms/hands? The brains are drawn really well btw, I like how you used two different perspectives for each of the brains. Idk if this is what you had planned, but if you don't draw the rest of the person, you should draw a couple smaller brains farther back behind these two and connect them all together. Just a suggestion to fill up the empty space and I think it would look pretty swish.

Thanks man, those are exactly the things I'm thinking about haha. I don't really know which I'll choose, it will probably depend on what I want to draw this week. Thanks again!
