I finished reading The Great Gatsby today and I can't help but be intimidated by the greatness that comes from a writer such as Fitzgerald. No only does he have a poetic, yet not over-dramatic way of describing things, his vocabulary surpasses mine greatly also. I'm pretty sure I had to check the definition of a word at least once every 5 pages. Conveniently I was reading on my phone, which made it very easy to switch to Siri to immediately get a definition.
For those who are too lazy to actually go read it, even though it's relatively short, the movie does a superb job of portraying it and is astoundingly accurate.

Since there are so many classics on iBooks or free I decided to download a bunch of them. The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe is next on the list, I'm hoping it'll be just as impressive.

I started to read the Cycle of Robots (I.Asimov) so i can finally sleep better.
Only the first chapter done, so there's not much of a plot yet... and i have to read 4 books.

It is way easier to sleep after reading something than after a session of Quake.

I read Great Gatsby back in College while I was studying English. One of my favourite books within the scope of American literature.

The Raven is actually my favourite poem of all time. Quite haunting and unforgettable. The Fall of the House of Usher and The Imp of the Perverse are both really good stories too, so you should check them out if you like Poe's style.

Currently reading through Wuthering Heights and The English Patient for University. Can't say either of them inspire much. Wuhering Heights isn't too bad, it does occasionally grab my interest. I just wish I had more time to read for leisure rather than just reading whatever I get thrown at for University. It kind of starts to take the fun out of reading when it gets forced down your throat. It's rare that a book comes up that I genuinely enjoy reading.

I read The Curious Case of Benjamin Button today. Didn't know it was so short, but I liked it nonetheless. Fitzgerald man, he makes good shit.
