Welcome to the new (and not useless anymore) profiles!

Image

you can go to your own profile by clicking your avatar.

The avatars of your profile are now connected with the comments too.

Profile features:
Image
you now can view your uploads (or another`s) with the Tab "Images". Also the favourites and the comments of this person/your own.
I am very glad that I found a good solution for this.

In "contact info" you can put in your youtubechannel, favourite animation program and link your forum threads.
just hover on "edit" and then "update your profile".

the tab "community" is not relevant right now, it's from the plugin itself.
some little changes still need to be done, even though they aren't essential, like renaming "images" to "animations".

I've got a question for you guys, what resolution do you have on your pc's? I've got some posts that some don't even see the right menu "featured animations", "new animations" etc. and that would be sad...

Also, I'm adding a "to do list" on the first post since some suggestions and bugreports are coming from other sites or skype.

by the way, there is a little extra update: the online list!
Image
still is shown the wrong way. but it's there. yay (cheesy grin

also another tab in the profile with downloads.

edit: i've changed the way to put thread links in the profile, the editor is simply too much.
it's a list of weblink fields.

it is possible to put in up to 5 links now- if you think this is not enough, let me know.

Everytime i go on the site, it only shows me this line, and nothing else loads :

Code: Select all
Fatal error: Call to undefined method PasswordHash::get_random_bytes() in /home/.sites/618/site2181/web/libraries/phpass/PasswordHash.php on line 230

The images on my thread are still active, so i guess it's just my computer which can't connect.

oh my :/ i reversed what i did, connecting is possible again.

i've tried to exclude the output of this error:
Warning: is_readable() [function.is-readable]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/dev/urandom) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/.sites/618/site2181/web:/home/.sites/618/site2181/tmp:/usr/share/pear) in /home/.sites/618/site2181/web/libraries/phpass/PasswordHash.php on line 51

Notice: Undefined variable: output in /home/.sites/618/site2181/web/libraries/phpass/PasswordHash.php on line 57

but it seems it didnt work. as far as I could find out, this error is because of the CB plugin (for the profiles), which is checking the other plugins, so no reason to worry. still, i have to find out how i can stop it to show up.

everything works as it should- dont worry. a backup was made 2 days ago too.

alright guys,
I've spent weeks to find a good plugin for flash (swf) uploads. all free stuff I could find was either without:
rating system
or
profiles
or
ability for users to upload stuff (means, only possible for admins with ftp)
or simply didn't have what I wanted to have.

I finally found a very good one, which implements the profiles of the current plugin ( the profiles you're using), I paid 58 pounds. therefore it has ALOT of features, just like the plugin for the profiles (adds a tab for flash animations)

it still has some layout issues, but it doesnt affect the upload in any way. thumbnails aren't made automatically, sadly, you have to upload and then edit your upload to put in a thumbnail. i will look for a solution for this.

I will change the mainpage to a sort of a portal where you can choose between gif uploads (for pivot, stykz, easytoon) and flash uploads(swf).

greets!

Spoiler:
site will be back soon, had some trouble with updating to new joomla version - some plugins simply aren't updated yet and not compatible with joomla 3.3-
(i'm just reversing right now... the backup is from today, about 2 hours ago)

the flash upload will be better afterwards, you can add title and description BEFORE the upload then. about the thumbnails: i have to wait until the creator of the plugin responses, until then you have to add a thumbnail after the upload (if you want to have one)

edit: everything up again.
greets

a question to you guys:

do you use the "quick uploader"?
the Idea behind was to seperate your pivs from other uploads, like images you might need to upload somewhere.
I thought about putting it together with the files upload(will be renamed to private store) again, since you have the control of oyur files here anyways...

I'd really like to hear your opinion.
thank you in advance,
co

hello,
I've decided to change the entire layout, since the mass of uploaders was simply too much, i had the feeling that everything was very chaotic..
It currently is a bit brighter than before.

I'd need your opinion about the quickuploader.
It isn't linked in the menu yet, because you can upload images, unfinished pivs or similar in the private file store too.
all uploads there are still available, you can see your uploads here: http://www.animtube.net/index.php/2-unc ... cks-upload

the idea of the quickuploader was to split image uplaods from your pivs or other files you might want to keep a longer time.
but, since you can delete uploads from yourself everytime, I think it got useless to make an extra uploader.

so,please give me your opinion about it. thanks :)

The main screen text and box are both black so you can't see the text!

I like the layout and the new logo

Also I would recommend having the check box for 'Remember me' be right next to it instead of under it
