sorry about that checkbox, I still didn't figure out where I could edit this ._. but I will keep searching..

for simplification:
Please post your ideas, feedback, bugreports and else here: Feedback section

I will post animtube on more forums soon, and i simply can't check everyday in 5 or more forums if someone has posted. if there are updates, I will check the threads and update, but else it would be alot of more stress and time expenses for me..

of course I will check every now and then, but not every time.

also, please read news section for more information about what to come :)
polls and such will be there soon too.

I might just make an info-menu and just copy everything of it in the forums, i'll see..

I also would like to make a partners/affiliates section, where forums can get linked with animtube.

after all, animtube should be an uploader for forums.

It's already nice to see people uploading on it :D
also, I make daily backups and test updates on another domain.-just to be sure

what would you guys think about a new domain, anim.tube ? .tube is available soon though.
all links would change too. (I am currently thinking about moving all animations to one single uploadsystem,so the links would change anyways)

I really hope this works out for you, Windie. I'll probably make an account soon, though I can't promise I'd be all that active.

I like that idea a lot, also if there aren't any yet, custom short urls?

@ daniel, it is an upload site, I don't think you have to be "active" there though :D it's not like a forum :)

@dragon, do you mean Urls that can set a user himself?
the uploaded files (for example swf or gif files) get the name of the file for the url..

e.: I edited the front page of animtube a little. greets (cheesy grin

Ah sorry, I thought it was a combination of the two.

nevermind :)
i thought about combining it, but there are enough forums (and good forums) out there. also I kind of want to keep animtube neutral.

That would be nice, but those domains are pretty much unavailable since people snap up short links. Either that or they don't exist in the first place. animtu.be is available, I dunno how helpful that would be.

Also, it's a nice website Windeh. I can't say I like the idea of having to register but you seem to have it all working together nicely.

not sure about the short urls, and how i could make them.

thank you, also I thought about unregistered upload, but I fear spam uploads and/or non-animation-uploader... that is why you have to register.
It also should be a place where you can collect all your animations to find them in an easy way, and for others to find your animations. the idea was like having a place where your works are on one place, instead of searching in different forums for them or on different uploaders. in your profile you can link all your forum threads to show people where they can communicate with each other.

I would really consider changing the logo. It's not that it's that bad, but there's a lot of emphasis on the M for some reason. Like, the first time I read it, it didn't say AnimTube like I'm sure it's meant to, it said Ani-M-tube, which doesn't really express the meaning of it to me. I know what AnimTube is, but what is Ani-M-Tube? Also, the gloss on the logo would have looked SUPER good if it was 2005, but it's not so that look is a bit dated.

I think a redesign would go very far for the site. It might not seem like much but people use hosting sites a lot more if they are designed simply. I'm sure imgur wouldn't be nearly as popular today if it wasn't for it's great minimalist design.

Yeah, there is something about this colorscheme and general design (and the ones before) that just puts me off so hard. The frontpage looks p cluttered as well.

thanks for your inpit, ipwnall & tenks.
I always am open for new ideas for the design or logo, and I want to build the site on user Ideas.
the only thing I want to keep is the "A" of the logo and the basic color orange, everything else can be changed though.

If you have suggestions, just let me know. :)
I am currently trying to find a responsive template which I can modify then.
