Okay, so if it's not bad for you, (in fact you're saying it's good for you) then why hasn't it been legalised already?

Why did people treat homosexuality as an illness, if it was not one?

Misinformation and ignorance. Also so the government can exploit the whole 'war on drugs' facade and keep the cops' wallets lined. It doesn't matter if it's bad for you or not. If the government can put some law on it and rake in money from all the fines then they're going to keep doing it. That's how it works. If it's profitable for them to make it legal, they probably will.

I am fine with marijuana being illegal but its more of the fact of how people try to say they are educated about marijuana and know everything about it and yet say it's completely bad for you and is worse than everything else in the world including death

I don't mind it being legalized, but I think it should be regulated by the government, much like alcohol and tobacco. It'd bring the number one(I believe?) cash-crop to function under law, rather than being restricted by law. I could see an increase in jobs, increase in state revenue and economic growth in the 'formal' market as well as decrease the amount of money spent in court(trials and such on the subject). More money to go to actual shit that matters, instead of money going imprisoning thousands of people for smoking a plant that's not quite as damaging as alcohol or tobacco.

there should be something snarky to say, a clever new angle to this just to annoy both sides, but I'm all out.

Jojishi wrote:Why is this socially acceptable and completely legal drug, legal, while marijuana isn't? I will never understand why a plant that just causes people to chill out, laugh and eat a lot is illegal when something much more dangerous and damaging isn't. Hopefully this almost completely harmless plant gets legalised soon so we can focus on bigger problems, and by legalise I mean for recreational use as well.

I've been exercising every day, only eating the healthiest food, going flat out broke paying for my health and I have nothing to show for it over the past few months.

Never smoke marijuana kids.

I feel like this is a relevant piece of information.
