yo dude at least we have a education, if i remember correctly only less than one percent of the entire world has even just been in a classroom to learn.
if you want to learn those other things then do it in your own time rather than bitching about it because that won't solve anything. i agree that we could be taught a more useful syllabus but it kinda annoys me when people complain about the education that they get because they're not looking it in in perspective to the rest of the world, ie; they don't have any.

I agree with Tuna, ask someone in poverty in Africa/South America/anywhere and they'd be pretty annoyed if you didn't go to school.
Most subjects do seem rather pointless though, he got that right. Remind me to teach my kid(s) in the future the stuff they'll need to know.

This whack kill la kill looking motherfucker is stupid. If you're so concerned about schools not teaching you the essentials then get off your ass and learn it yourself instead of expecting to be spoon fed.

That was a lot more interesting. I wish more people would share this mindset.

I'm not sure why this was (requested to be) locked, seemed like this could've turned into a pretty decent discussion.

@Mitch: The point that he's making is not that he doesn't want to learn those things himself, but that people are forced to study a lot of things that are irrelevant for their lives, yet still essential things are left out.

I can't say I disagree honestly, though diagnosing a problem is always a different matter than resolving it.
