I've transferred a Lv. 1 Bagon over to Omega Ruby because yes, and I plan on giving Mega-Gallade a try as well.

As for X, I'll have my shiny Mega Ampharos :D

Honestly if anything, you will fucking need mega Beedrill so hard if you want to destroy anything. Insane sweeping potential with some great speed as well. There's no reason not to get him really.

Well, he does have a flaw. If you don't have Protect on him there's always a big chance of him getting killed before you can U-Turn away from anything, since Beedrill's base speed is pretty fucking whack..

I've always liked Beedrill, but refrained from using it because of its poor stats.

It has a base defense of 40, but its Mega speed jumps from 75 to 145.

Honestly mega Beedrill is now very good so you should just use it. Trust me.

Yeah, no, I'm a big fan of Mega Beedrill. Drill Run gives him fantastic coverage.
