wavedashing and shffling are pretty easy to get into tbh, it's the mindgames you can do with them like full jumps and w/e
so many cool things you can do with edges (except edgehog fuck that)
also edgestalling zz
Yeah I picked up on those techniques relatively quickly. Dem spacies though. I only picked up Falco back in like february and Fox maybe a couple weeks back. I pretty much got down all of Falcos tech and he's super fun to play, Fox is SO much faster in comparison so he's been a bit harder but luckily a lot of the stuff carries over.
Unfortunately I learned how to play these guys on project M, I didn't play spacies when I played melee. I went back to Melee and a lot of the frame data is slightly off so I'm finding it really awkward to play them on there - at least not to the level that I play them on PM or at the level of my old main Doc.
But yeah! This tournament is going to have all of the top 5 and a ton of amazing players, I think even D1 and maybe Prog are going to commentate. It's going to be really cool to see the top players live and maybe get stomped a few times by them in pools/friendlies. Super excited.
