Still don't own smash 4. Planning on getting it for WiiU though. I don't know how much I'm going to like it, but a few characters definitely look interesting.

I did play an absolute ton of melee this year and got pretty damn good in the 6 or so months straight I was grinding it. Haven't kept up lately because of school and such. Still, had so much fun.

I was just hoping Kirby would finally be good again, but honestly right now why would you pick Kirby if you can just play Jigglypuff and actually have some horizontal speed. Oh well, there's plenty other characters.

Also, I learned a lock combo with Peach yesterday but they patched it, so I think I'll move on to Pikachu. With Pikachu, whenever I see the opportunity I basically use neutral Bs to occupy them while using QA to close the distance then go for utilt or uthrow into nair or bair depending on how they're positioned and to have some mixup. I feel this is pretty solid, but it could be because I've faced scrubs. Opinions/tips?

pikachu sh neutral b is a solid spacing/zoning tool but it's still not the same as mario/dr mario's neutral b

i haven't played pikachu too much since i'm trying out the new characters

i'm pretty confused about robin's tome and sword mechanics lol

@anton: yoshi is super solid, all his aerials are finishers and his up b is good for getting on the stage and some really interesting edgeguards

QA is quick attack yeah. I want to play Pikachu but lately I've found myself picking Ganondorf and Charizard above the others. Ganondorf just because ganoncide and meteor smashes and Charizard because it's basically inbetween Ganon and Kirby so it's like a hybrid that comes almost naturally for me.

Also Ganon forward B to crouch A is such a rough punish when they panic shield. Usually combos into another forward B crouch A, giving around 50% damage (seemingly more the heavier the character is somehow) except for the people with really quick aerial moves, an equally quick mind and little input lag. With a punish like that, lots of games get pretty easy.

Wow it looks great. Esam's pikachu is pretty neat, didn't think id see QA used offensively in smash games but i have no idea of anything sm4sh related.

I honestly think he would've done better (which is so hard) since it'd be a bit harder to get rested because marth's sword is longer than fox's shit. Who the fuck cares about getting gimped anyways.

nah, it's not a fun matchup for marth at all. you can't combo puff because she's way too floaty and you can't really rely on your usual off-the-top kills because uair doesn't combo against puff and nothing really combos into uair at kill percents. off the side kills and his edgeguard game would've been m2k's best bet but he was probably significantly more confident in winning with fox.
