The Soulbrandt guys released a video about their closed doors E3 demo of DK3.
http://www.twitch.tv/brandon505/v/6305155This is all that's said basically (copied from a reddit post):
-Estus animation is "frame by frame" identical to DS1, but since there's no HUD, we don't know how the actual healing works.
-4-directional rolling when locked on, omni-directional when not locked.
-Graphical fidelity is around the same level as Bloodborne.
-Backstabs look just like in DS1, but are "slightly delayed".
-Pretty much every gameplay mechanic feels like DS1.
-Confirmed 30 fps.
-Miyazaki is 5'10".
-Fully interconnected world (like DS1).
-They speculate the world hub is more like the Hunter's Dream, than Firelink Shrine (although just speculation).
-DS3 confirmed by Miyazaki to not be the last game in the series.
-Throw mechanics work like DS1, not DS2.
-All the standard gestures are back (mixed from both DS1 and DS2).
-Sword Arts: Enables special attacks for different weapons (there's much more elaborate info on this available than I cba to write).
-Bows fire immediately, but have a longer recovery time.
-The shortbow has a rolling attack that's really, really fast.
-Legion Scimitars came as 2 weapons in a single drop (the second one is drawn upon 2-handing or Arts Stance).
-They mention the boss, which is easiest described as being this.
-Equipped weapons (not drawn) are now shown on the characters back.
-Kick is back, and same as DS1.
-Miyazaki laughed at Soul Memory. SL confirmed.
-Signs confirmed.
-They're "evolving" the hollowing system.
-According to the controller layout, charge attacks are a thing.
-Charge attacks can be canceled.
-Charge attacks break guards.
-Ragdolls are in the game.
-Huge, aggressive, 5-hit combo knights. (described as "fair drake keeper knights").
-Enemies chug estus like there's no tomorrow.
-Lords of Cinder are those who previously linked the flame.
-Miyazaki confirmed "no direct references" (so like every other game).
-"If you see something, you can go to it, and you can go in it".
-Something about sacrificing corpses to co-op (I really couldn't hear wtf they were saying...).
-Aesthetically, it looks like "Bloodborne with dragons and magic".
-"Dedicated servers" will most likely work like in DS2 (servers for matchmaking, P2P for the connection).
-Parrying is also the same as DS1.
-Sword Art stance "flows" into the rest of the combat (no need to stop and wait to activate it).
-Confirmed people who think it's only A-team and B-team don't know what they're talking about (unsurprisingly).
-Bosses have different phases with varying elements.
-The boss had environmental changes to the arena (lighting it on fire with her attacks).
-They talk about the "dark-consumed" mini-boss, but no concrete info, really.
-Color palette felt very "same-y" and "washed out".
