I play Tekken, USFIV, Tekken X SF, Smash Melee/Project M and BBCP and I'm a complete scrub in all of them, perhaps a bit more decent in Blazblue and Smash but I'm still not good imho. I'm craving for Guilty Gear Xrd but I've been struggling getting the money to buy it.
Main Xiaoyu, Cammy, Xiaoyu&Cammy Marth/Falco and Kokonoe respectively, although I play a lot of characters for fun.

Probably gonna pick up skullgirls sometime. For now I'm more looking to get at least decent at the fundamentals since I'm quite shit now and I think USF4 is the way to go then.

Iunno, I'd say your right but Skullgirls and USFV are real different from eachother. You could still learn the fundamentals from both games but different games have different "Variations" On fundamentals.

then look up videos first read up stuff, inform yourself about whats available to you idk, do you have ppl to play sf with, because netplay aint gonna be fun if you're starting out

you hang out in the smash thread, as far as fighters go it's relatively low budget (especially for the two most popular ones, PM and melee)
wii + sd + usb + gc now you have everything you need to start getting good at like $100 total

but other fg are cool, just watch and look

combination of the gfx + stylistic choices + music + character design + mechanics

i have looked at vids and shit, still hard to guess which'd be more fun. friend of mine said hed get into skullgirls with me if i did but another one said the same about usf so ima see if i can get them to both agree on 1 so i have more people to play with


also i dont really mind getting bodied and ive watched competitive scene of a lot of fighters so i kinda know my jam, its more getting used to actually doing things myself thats gonna be tricky
