It doesn't NEARLY look as fast as it SHOULD be for doom currently (I doubt it ever will be), a lot of it looked pretty scripted and stuff, but honestly people forget how much the original doom was scripted, so IDK. I hope they put in the secret areas and stuff though because that was a big part of what made doom cool; unlocking shit before you should've had it to get a big advantage at the cost of 20 cacodemons all up in your grill.
I'm gonna go with a hyped BUT they need to make it less generic-y, more fast paced and crazy, more secret-findy and overall more crazy and then it'll be the best game of 2016. Otherwise Shadow Warrior 2 is gonna win in "Crazy Arcade FPSs" and I don't want the student to outlearn the teacher ;-;
The multiplayer and ESPECIALLY the forge-like map system look REALLY FUCKING DOPE though. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Id make a new quake on a similar/the same engine soon after. Doom stole the fucking show for me FUCK YOU WHACK CUNTS.
