Mobile Gaming

I recently got a new phone and since memory isn't an issue anymore (I had an 8GB iPhone 5 before this) I decided to download a lot of new games on it. It's mostly games I've played on my previous phone before I needed the memory (or the one before that, who had expandable memory), but I've tried some new ones as well.

Some of my favorites are:
2048: This addicting game is the only one that I still had on my previous phone. I still haven't reached the 8192 tile, though I've come painfully close. I like its simplicity and I've enjoyed it a great deal.

Jetpack Joyride: I've actually unlocked everything in this game about 3 years ago, but of course I lost all that data. I just downloaded it today and I've already spent 4 hours on it...

Sword & Sorcery: I bought this game in a Humble Bundle a long time ago and it's very interesting to say the least. It's got a lot of experimental things going on and keeps rocking a weird but soothing ambiance. Also pixel art <3
Edit: Oh and great music!

I've also played a game named Six! where a hexagon falls down on blocks and you need to remove blocks under it without letting the hexagon fall to the sides. I only downloaded it so I could beat my little sister in the game (life lessons, son), but it wasn't too bad.

So I'm sure a lot of you play games on their phones as well. Share some of your favorites!

2048 is a great game. Although there is an obvious meta that if you follow the same pattern you'll get really far.

Yeah, 2048 is quite easy to get down, though it's interesting to see how some people still suck after you explained the pattern and showed them how it's done.

So I got a highscore of just under 15.000 on Jetpack Joyride, without any revives besides the one you get in the spin token machine.

A game that I really enjoyed a lot lately is Rust Bucket, which is a top-down, turn-based, dungeon-crawler puzzle-esque game. It's really good, so download that y'all. Great difficulty curve and keeps introducing enough mechanics to keep it interesting.

Oh and the same developers made a game called Dan the Man, which is a Shank-esque platformer with cuter graphics where you go from left tor right while killing enemies. Was pretty fun, though I got enough of it pretty quickly, since at some point it just keeps being sorta the same thing.

Doodle Jump and Piano Tiles are the main ones I have on my phone. Both very enjoyable, though very repetitive.

Just downloaded Doodle Jump again, but I really hate the shooting mechanic of having to hover over your entire screen to shoot, so much that it frustrated me after the second game.

I used to have some good times with this game back in the day though. Forgot it existed.

At my robotics club we've gotten really into Peggle for some reason... If you see anyone from programming or electrical team on their phones they're probably playing Peggle.
I also really like Dots.

I still have a few unused redeem codes for Collect or Die for ios and Android. Dunno what to do with them, so if anyone wanna try it out, just pm me. The game made it to top5 on the list of almost all mobile review magazines/websites.

If you can miss a code, I'd like to try out that game.

The Binding of Isaac on my phone seems pretty cool, but 15$ seems like a high price point for a mobile game. Especially considering I've already got it on PC.

Edit: So Rebirth is also on 3DS, I might purchase it on there sometime.

I've been playing Magikarp Jump and even though it's a shitty F2P game I've been enjoying it a lot.
