I've been playing Dishonored a lot lately.
This game is a piece of art.

everyone did this awhile back, so now that I actually have something worth showing
Monitor: AOC I2267FW 22-Inch screen, was $99.99 on Amazon and certainly suits my needs for 1080p
Rig: NZXT Source 210 Elite case with FX8350 processor (T4 Cooler Master CPU cooler) and an ASUS GTX 970(open box). Was going to be a rx 480 but had issues with my order and after a length of time I settled for this. 16GB of DDR3, Western Digital 1TB, other shit no one cares about
Peripherals: Logitech g230 headset, nothing special, decent set for the price though. About $40. Mouse is a g300s. Can't complain, was a free replacement for my g100s under warranty, although I would say I probably prefer the g100s sensor. Maybe it was the weight, idk. Something felt more precise about it. Keyboard is some 10 year old shitter from an old Dell desktop my family used to have, idk the specific model. Does the job but I'll need to upgrade at some point. Mouse pad is a $8 Steelseries QCK. Glad I didn't get the Mini, need that 4 extra inches.
Desk + Chair: Desk I got for $60 at some furniture warehouse, big enough for my needs since I don't plan on getting a dual monitor setup at any point. Chair which is off screen is some rolling office seat I got for $15 at a thrift store.

That's a nice rig! All you need now is a nice keyboard. If you are going for a mechanical keyboard, I would recommend the Razor Black Widow Ultimate Edition. It costs around $100-$120 depending on where you buy it from. Mechanical keyboards last a lot longer, but the downside is they can be pretty loud. So you might want to keep that in mind if your dorming or living with a room mate.
