I present to you the GYM LEADER CHALLENGE!

This must be done with a friend who has a Pokemon game of the same generation.. You both decide 6 pokemon types to be used.(You must agree on these 6 types) After the types are decided, you each raise a team of pokemon that have the same typing at the same time. [For example Rock. v Rock or Dragon v. Dragon (dual types allowed, of course)]. This would determine who is more worthy of the title "Gym Leader" of each category, and could make battling with friends even more competitive.

I've got a friend who's got Y & AS, whereas I have X & OR, so I might actually be up for that.

The only thing is that raising a team takes quite a bit of time, something I don't have a lot.

Secret bases are wonderful ways to level up, especially if you find one with high-exp Pokemon and level release machines.

Pretty much how I level up my competitive Pokemon now. I can do 5 simultaneously once I teach 2 of them protect and send them in with my Garchomp.

I would assume it being fighting on dark dittos gives it an advantage but scraggy also does that so I can't think of anything.

I should get back to this but breeding is so boring.

All the big events are online, you can check on Serebii which events will be at what time in your region. The Diancie one was international.

Im working on a team all the time, but shit's tough yo. I also don't want to roll with legendaries, really crossing my fingers a lot of those will be banned for VGC'16. Right now, there's just too many Landorus and Thundurus flying around.
