Yeah man, so hype! Iunno why they didn't reveal it's ability or details, I just hope it gets a good ability, unlike slowbro, sceptile and some others.
Also groudon and kyogre's seem to be permanent weather abilities.

Also Mega Sharpedo sounds pretty terrifying now that I think about it. Strong Jaw raises crunch to 180 after stab, getting a free speed boost with protect it can easily sweep once you remove anything that resists crunch.
sounds really good.

Sharpedo is going to be very dangerous.

I love how some megas can be so extreme while others are more subtle in their designs.

So Mega Gallade's ability was revealed to be Inner Focus. Honestly, not the best ability, but it seems like they're aiming to make MeGallade more suited to double battles.

Inner Focus is pretty shitty indeed, but oh well, it can be useful for double battles. I dig it when people both pull out a Kangaskhan and they try to Fake Out each other, but one has Inner Focus. It's cool when the less common abilities/moves get a good use.

Wow what a giant disappointment. I was hoping for some crazy cheese tier shit like Moxie or Unaware.

Mega Alteria hype train back on the rails.

Why do they choose really terrible abilities, megas are supposed to be worth the slot :(

I guess so it won't be game breaking. I mean the thought of facing Gallade mega with moxie would just be broken Im sure he's strong enough to 1 shot a few pokes.

taking priority out of the picture Mega Sharpedo will have one of the safest and most reliable sweeps in the OU meta.
Spam protect while not mega for speed boosts then evolve and sweep, easy. He would only need one Speed boost considering he's sitting at base 95 without mega. Only real downside to mega Sharpedo is he will be less effective if he gets switched out.

I dunno what sort of moveset you'de run on a Mega Sharpedo. I thought of a few.

Standard sweep
Speed boost/rough skin
252atk, 252spe
Ice fang
Earthquake
Aqua Jet/Waterfall
Poison Jab

Reliable Sweep
Speed boost
252atk, 252spe/hp
Protect
Eathquake
Aqua jet/Waterfall
Ice fang/poison jab (depending on if you wanna take advantage of your ability or kill fairies)

Utility Sharpedo
Speed boost
252atk, 252spe/hp
Protect
Destiny Bond
Aqua Jet
Filler move

No stab strong jaw crunch? that's like the main appeal Mitch.
thinking I'll go with the generic Adamant Protect Crunch Ice fang Waterfall/Aqua Jet set.
Aqua jet/waterfall being decided if I have any other priority attacker on the team.

So the details on Primal Kyogre/Groudon's abilities was revealed. Both abilities cause permanent weather, but the weather dissapears when they are switched out (if the weather has lasted more than 5 turns that is). Another interesting thing, Primal Groudon's ability nullifies water attacks (A god send considering he's x4 weak to water when Primal) where as Primal Kyogre nullifies fire attacks.
