What the hell are you talking about?

It doesn't matter what tool we use. The most important Thing is that we are comfortable using it.

Does anyone have the link to download Macromedia Flash 8 for free? I don't mean the torrent version, I mean the free version I've heard people mention on here.

I think I can upload the portable version that I have tomorrow to mediafire, if that's okay with you. Though, it will take a long while to download.

Also, marvy, what I dislike about flash's brush tool is the way it behaves when you turn on a certain amount of smoothness (20 and more). In comparison with other drawing softwares, it doesn't really feel very natural.

I appreciate the thought Sifter, but I would rather get it tonight. I can probably find the link myself, but I know a few of you have already downloaded it. So I thought I would ask.

Edit: I just searched it in google and it was the first result. Thanks anyways guys. :P

Ok then, i need some explanation on the line tool, since brush tool is reminding me of the horrible .ezt memories
You can go hard on technical stuff.

By the way, if you feel like redacting a bunch of paragraphs, better try to put that in the tutorial section ;)

1.) What do you mean by, "how to avoid it?".
2.) When you make another line, try dragging it somewhere at the end of the line you're connecting it to.
3.) What do you mean exactly? The size? The position?
4.) Create another layer then : )

a simple solution is to just

i dont know

turn the smoothness down in that case

My suggested brush smoothing is 30-40
all you need is a steady hand then you'll be fine :^))

I used the brush tool for my first animation and I liked it a lot. I'm currently animating with the line tool and I also like it a lot.
