Pivot Points wrote:Welcome!
The whole aim of the Pivot Points business is giving you some extra satisfaction from animating. When you complete an assignment, you will be awarded with the corresponding amount of PP.
More PP equals bragging rights, so make sure you're at the top of the leaderboard!
To submit an assignment, simply post your animation in this thread.

It's the same exact concept, just with Flash, and Flash Ponts (FP).

It also has the same basic rules as PP.

Rules:
-Anyone can participate!
-You may not post an old animation here and have it count towards an assignment, nor may you continue an old animation for it to count.
-Creativity can get you extra points.
-You can accomplish multiple assignments in one animation

I'm not entirely sure how the points system works here so like would it be fine if I posted ideas and you guys assign points to them as you see fit?

It's fine if you post your own ideas. You can also add the amount of points you would think it's worth, and if it's seen as too many points or too little points, I can adjust them.

I don't think this system works because we flash animators tend to make long lengths and not simple tests.

I believe so too that its is far more easy to release pivot animations fast.

If your really into animating you just do it and you wont have to rely on a system to keep you going. But i'm assuming this is just for funzies.

Im just kinda upset that this whole ranking thing is still a thing. Alot of people get blind by it and it demotivates people at times too. It did it for me when I pivoted.

I'm not sure what you're on about with that last line, or the entire post for that matter.

If anything it's much easier to release a quick animation in Flash. This is just a way to animate some fun subjects that not only broaden your range of animation in some cases, but also allow you to beat others at that.

Yea, it's just a fun little game that you can play when you want to.

Also, update the points and assignments. I didn't add yours Mori, because that's way too easy/simple of a thing to make in flash.

These points don't actually do anything though. It's just a fun little thing to do for when you're bored or out of ideas.

Changed the banner, made a contribution, and edited the layout for you Gary. I'll be doing little touch ups here and there.

Why aren't I seeing any of these animations? Is there a program or something that I need installed?
