Rashboo's Thread

About Myself:
Hello! I'm Rashboo. I've been with Pivot ever since 2007 but I realistically animated for 2 1/2 years. For some reason, I just keep quitting from time to time due to me getting bored of Pivot and moving on to playing games or doing something else. Although people tell me that Flash is better, Pivot will always have my heart. I hope you enjoy my animations. :)

I believe I've already seen your animations in other places, and you've probably heard a lot by now that those kicks in "random kicking" have no power. Although, i really love your spacing, because although the lithium tribute has the same random kicks, i enjoyed watching that little bit.

I think that your best parts are usually towards the beginning because usually after that you seem to lose steam. With the exception of the box room one where you had a really nice throw which was farish into the animate. You should concentrate on keeping the quality consistent throughout your whole animation.

I think you should space more bodyparts than only the hitting limbs in order to increase power.
You can also work on the reactions, sometimes, they are either too weak or wierd.

You're not moving the stick enough, keeping the head level removes all the power from any attacks, you need the body to snap in the other direction to the leg. In fact, when you're not sure of a movement, do it yourself. Your head won't stay level when kicking like that.

Looking good. It feels a little stiff but it is a huge improvement. There's not much to say besides of that really, there's not a lot going on.
Keep it up!

Update.

"Power of the Punches"
I really want to continue this animation because I have the storyline set for it (and I'm also looking forward to animating it.) Sadly, from the amount of mistakes in this animation & the lack of time I have (travelling soon, and other stuff to do <_<) that I might not able to finish it. So this is all I have so far, and I know it's not good because I'm so freaking lazy to fix my mistakes.

I might work on this later on or re-do the whole thing because from the start, it wasn't how I planned it to be. I would love some CC because I have problems animating reactions to a punch/kick. Plus, I want to know if it's good to continue it or just remake the whole thing.

Okay, your 3D is good, but you need more power in those hits, he looked as if he was just raising his arm to punch/uppercut the guys faces.
