Postby Madnessthunder » Mon Dec 08, 2014 2:47 pm

Welcome to my thread. Just call me Madness, my Skype is my username believe it or not. Message me there for joint requests, and have an idea before you ask me for a joint. :^)

Signature Stuff

This is pretty much a test animation, like how I posted my horrible beginner sword tests, to be able to document my progress. So bare with me as I continue posting atrocious signatures until they're decent.

Destructive Power WIP
-Added color to better differentiate between the two characters.
-Fixed the previous errors in the last part.

Ball Bounce Tests!*Tweaked*:(I really liked this animation. If any of you have some good tips on bounceyness, I'd love to hear it. Also the first ball represents normal bounce, the second is a heavy object and the third is a bouncey object.)

Quickly passing through...

Movements are pretty raw, not bad, but not so good. You may want to know how to refine these movements.
I'd say something like reading tutorials and pratice, nothing else.

Your main flaw is the absence of flow. Each movement have no relation with the next move. (inertia, speeds, trajectories) it's stopping and going for the next move.
Yeah i know, DBZ fights are like that. But with stickfigures, it's a little different.

What was i saying ? Oh yeah : Stop & go (this is also my main flaw). Try to follow through your moves, and learn how movements can chain between eachother.
Over-exaggerated effects don't work right now, you need to learn how to show power before adding effects.

And finally, what's the deal about the dust effect that goes slightly upwards ?

Med beginner.

The smoke was just to show that there was a clash between them both, hard to notice since I'm not used to doing the dot thingy. But thanks so much for the feedback. I'll try to work more on making the movements flow into each other more. :D

Dunno if this will be the official ending of the animation but if it is, it's 340 frames.

Thanks. I've decided that I'm going to make this into a part series. The next part will most likely be training so the Cyan dude can learn to maintain his Cyan mode longer to defeat the Brown guy. Thanks once again for the feedback guys, wasn't getting much on other forums..

Ouch ... Multi-post is not good looking on a thread. And shrink down that sig using [tn=] instead of [img]

Anyway, the little ribbon on the grip of the sword is stiff in the beginning, you can edit your frames after creating them, using the < and > keys makes the thing faster and easier. ( ? and . keys for azerty keyboards )

Uh yea sorry, trying to figure out the TN thing right now, and the chain on the sword was not my top priority in the animation, so I kinda left it be. I'll go back and adjust it. And yea I've known those things, like I said I've been animating on off for 3 years, I'm just not that great, lol.
