Orson Scott Card is amazing. Have you read Ender's Game yet? It's simply brilliant

Was about to post about this when I decided to go back and see if anyone else is reading the series.
Are you finished it yet?
Edit: Of course you must be, that's almost 3 months ago. XD

But I also have just finished the Chaos Walking series and all 3 short stories accompanied with it, Patrick Ness does a superb job of showing the characters as real people and not some distortion of what they should be. For example, the main characters, Todd and Viola, both only 13-14, portrayed as being heroic and mature people, no, they are only teenagers, and so only think like teenagers would in situations of life and death.
Makes me feel envious almost, or some other feeling I can't quite describe after finishing the series. I'll be looking forward to Ness' next book, The Rest of Us Just Live Here, out this August.

My English teacher recommended to me personally His Dark Materials, so I started the Northern Lights a couple of nights ago. He said it's one of the best trilogies you could get, so I've high expectations. ;)

I've read that trilogy. It's pretty damn good. It's a shame the movie adaption of the first book was so awful.

Finished A Good Day To Die by Simon kernick and now onto The Turn Of The Screw by Henry James. Both books are pretty good to me.
