Well, that's only my favorite stick ever made. Probably incredibly hard to animate with the four light sabers but eh. You were able to minimize Grevious's detail to a balance that's able to both capture his look, and still be simplistic enough to look nice and streamline. I wish to hell I could animate this thing.

And Cowettie, you're pioneering stick figure functionality. Incredible stuff.

I had problems, man.

Problem 1. I've now got sleeping tablets for my insomnia. Guess what? They don't work so far.

Problem 2. My mouse. It likes to double-click often when I want a single click. This means half the time I can't click/drag. Know how infuriating that is? I've got a new one coming in the post but it said it could be delievered from any time between a week ago and next month.

Problem 3. I wanted to do something different than what I usually did for this round but, honestly, I made a few attempts and not only were they of lesser quality than my first entry and, well, anything I usually would do, problems 1 and 2 came into play and pretty much halted any chance of short-term improvement.

But you know that, if this shit goes on next year, I'm going to win.

You can animate with your previous sticks you've made from this competition. It won't count toward anything in this competition, but you're free to do whatever you want with what you've made from this competition.

I'm warning you now, it's gonna be a pain to animate with. I'll release all my sticks from this competition at the end of this competition.

Damn, I don't want to take a forfeit, I had something sweet planned too. I understand you're busy though. Alright then it's decided, I won.

I want to personally thank the judges for taking on the task of judging every stick in every round and proposing the idea to use staff resources to judge, that was a pretty good idea. I also want to thank vast amount of talented stick makers that joined in the first official SMOTY competition. I had no idea so many of you guys were good at stick making and I really hope all of you stick around for next year's competition. You'd all make great winners in my opinion. Last but not least, I wanted to thank Ray. Without his help, I'm not even sure this would of lasted two days. He made the thread a global announcement for me when I asked and offered to give prizes to the winner without hesitation. He made this and ACTUAL competition and I thank him for that. I would thank Jon, but I'm positive he doesn't check this site.

Congrats on winning the competition Mamba! And congrats to Coweetie for coming in second place! It's a shame there wasn't more people who entered this, but I think it turned out pretty good. Maybe next year we'll include some cash prizes as another form of enticement.
