I'd be interested. Yes I think it could happen again and I think it should since we need more community events like this. There's more of a reason to stay active and the forum just feels more connected. Could it be successful? Well, we don't know unless we give it a try, but near enough 100% of the time these things turn out well, apart from being extended a lot.
Thoughts on thisIf we did this, we'd need to downsize the teams to one staff team and one regular team. Otherwise we'd likely only have one moderator or admin animating in those respective groups which would defeat the purpose. While inactive animators were a challenge last time, it was nowhere close to now.
We could still have leader battles too. Each team could pick their respective leaders and then the leader(s) of the regular team and staff team could duke it out.
I'm not sure if rounds should exist or not. The only way I could see it going if it's two teams is to do three rounds in a linear fashion. First round has it's own environment and participants animate for 2 months, second round has a different environment and animators get roughly the same time as the first round. For each round, there is a leader battle between the two leaders of each team (6 leaders total, with 3 on regs and 3 on staff).
Example:Something like that I could see working, but the main obstacles are time (no surprise) and the cycling. People might burn out by round 3 for example, even if they only animate once for each round.
How does this sound to you guys though? We could give it a go for the first round and see how that goes and if people are still ready to go after that, we could do the further 2 rounds. If we only did one round then the leader battle could be a 3v3 or 5v5 match.
