I know we had this kind of discussion before but...

Are we still against "Like" button or maybe now that we are a little bigger forum we could make a "Like" button... I mean it's not very important and we are doing just fine without it but I'd still like a "Like" button.

What do you guys think?

i personally didn't mind it all that much when it was implemented, so i dont really care if it were to come back or not

No. People are inclined to simply click a button instead of leaving a comment. As a result it significantly decreases the activity on the site. It's a nice feature, but the cons outweigh the pros.

I feel the same way as he does, but we will consider it.

Either way it seems pretty useless to start implementing it now, considering the decay of this website.

The addition of a like system removes people going in depth to express the admiration of specific posts / animations. As a forum that runs on constructive criticisms of animations, this would basically kill it. The days where people used to go "i lyk this animation, pls cc me back thnx" were horrid, and thank God they are gone, and the like system would only promote more of that attitude.
