I think it's just too small. Also the position of her fingers is kind of weird. I imagine you were going for something like this...

I think the problem is that her hand doesn't make contact with her face. And since the hand is kind of small, it looks like it's hovering pretty far in front of her face. I think it's messing with the perspective a little. The animation is cool though, I give you props for attempting to animate an actual head.
