Specifically what part of the Hillary's agenda would fall under this category?

Oh you mean This and This?

So fighting for equality equals a slippery slope of degeneracy?

Hillary's campaign has mostly been about claiming victim-hood and demonizing the average citizen in order to gain special treatment. She's not fighting for true equal rights but merely for benefits of a couple specific groups, who in absolute terms already have the exact same rights as everyone else.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that kind of what Trump did as well? Didn't he have all these crazy ideals and claims that appealed mainly to specific radical groups?

You're correct. He will probably inspire an entirely different level of degeneracy, but we'll see. This election has very much been about choosing the lesser evil. It does not make my point any less valid.

Again, could you be more specific, because I'm not really seeing where you're coming from.

Sure.

Feminism in the 20th century was a major resistance against established social norms. It was very important to the equal rights for women and I'm very much in support of it. What it did was open the floodgates for other oppressed groups to lay claim to equal rights which is all fine and fair. However It has gone so far that now the rights of minority groups are prioritized over the general population. Old traditions and values are being spit on and destroyed for marginal benefits of these minority groups. The cost-benefit ratio of changes to society is totally out of balance. Values of Manliness, Femininity, Strength and Wealth are decaying as a result, which is the literal definition of degeneracy.

It's tempting to continue this discussion, but at this point it's pretty clear to see our values and opinions differ when it comes to this and I don't have the patience to indulge in an internet debate.

So Trump changed his stance on Obamacare and Muslims (in the sense that it's off his agenda as it stands). Perhaps he'll shifted towards socialism entirely by the time he's actually president.

Haha, interesting theory. Hopefully his positions don't soften too much, since some support for him stemmed from his extreme views (radical change). Although I understand if his views become more moderate, since his policies have to see the light of day, so maybe he'd compromise.

I haven't said much, so I'll say that I supported Hillary Clinton months ago, since anything was better than "literally Hitler". After Clinton's collapse from pneumonia I began to question things and researched Trump, when I discovered he wasn't how the media portrays him. I may not agree with some typical republican policies, but I do agree with what Trump represents; an outsider against the establishment (including the media). Seeing the scandals surrounding Clinton, and then the rich and famous supporting her only pushed everyday people further from her.

Everyone was pushing Clinton as presidential, when what has made Trump so great is that he isn't the typical candidate. Anyway, those are my thoughts.

My biggest concern over Trump's presidency is the future of the internet. Here in the UK, we have just had legislation passed that requires 'adult-content' sites to require government identification to access. You would think this would just mean pornographic websites, but what about sites that have sub-sections dedicated to porn (ie, reddit) - would this be blocked too? Not only this, but our browsing history is kept for a year and can be accessed at any time by politicians, police forces, etc. Politicians are of course exempt...

And this is a startling issue, I think, because it is the thin end of the wedge in having the internet become government-controlled infrastructure. Trump has expressed disdain over the nature of the internet, perhaps because of the access to information, alternate political ideologies...

Consider the future of technology too! What happens when Samsung and Google's already patented and prototype-ready smart contact lenses become adopted by the mainstream? There lies the ability for authorities to literally see your vision - and your history of vision - because it has become quantified, pixelated data.

Scary times we are living in. Almost as if we are in a sci-fi dystopian novel!
