Yes i think so since some beginners is on that list and there is no rule about it. However the rank doesn't matter as long as you make a good one for it.

Pivot 4 might be a little tricky for old animators from pivot 2 because of the interface, but you will absolutely love it once you figure them out. Also, try to hold ctrl/alt while moving the joints, its fun.
