Does that mean that if water takes no form of a convace object, it takes the form of a sphere? In other words, water originally has a form of a sphere? That looks really wonderful and amazing, by the way.

It's due to cohesion. In a zero-gravity environment surface tension takes over and causes water droplets to cling to itself causing the spherical shape. It also clings to anything nearby, which is why you can see it clinging to that rod in the video. However on Earth the adhesive forces (meaning how well water sticks to other objects) are stronger than the cohesive forces, so instead of sticking together in a ball it spreads out.
