- A rough idea of what the collab is about (can brainstorm for further development).
- Dimensions that all animations included are to be made in.
- The due date of the collaboration.
- The frame minimum and maximum requirements.
- The specific animator level required (specify it's for everyone if you have no rule on this).
- Whether joints are valid or not.
- You must have over 200 posts, just to assure the collab won't be a complete fail.
- And last but not least, only one collab running at a time per person.
To join a collab you need to follow all of the rules specified by the thread creator. Questions can be asked in the thread.
It isn't really recommended you make a clan seeing that they really serve no purpose but to make a clan just open a thread with some sign ups and requirements. Remember you will need 50 posts or more to make a clan, also you should probably have some knowledge of the forum before starting a clan though and organize a collab or something once you've got a fair enough group of members.
Before Making a Collab
You should read Rotten's guide on making fail resistant collabs. And please note that we have rules for creating collabs. Make sure you follow each one before starting.
Rules:
- Make sure you have over 200 posts
- Check the forum, make sure there aren't any other competitions going with the same idea.
- Try to make the prizes unique, not just a photoshop sig, but something like a membership to a site you know, something that really makes people wanna try.
- 3-4 judges are often enough, so please don't hyperinflate the judge positions.
- Pay attention to your collabs and keep track of your members and their entries.
- You can't have more than one collab running at a time, this is for fail-avoiding purposes.
To request a mentor, joint or PW go here and here.
A joint can be posted in freestyle or your thread.
When both PWs are finished, you can post them in the spam pit for voting.
A collaboration can be posted in pivot chat when finished.
