Heyyo everyone. It's no big secret that this forum is dead. Although the forum is dead, we as a community are still thriving over on our discord. Check out the link if you're interested in joining us!

With the forums being dead, we decided to archive the forum to prevent people from spamming. You can still view every old thread on the site but cannot post in them. I will leave this thread open for us all to say our goodbye to the forum and share any memories we have of this place.

But the community still lives on, and we're here to stay for years to come. It's funny, actually. We as a community have really stood the test of time. We lost the original domain, this forum died years ago... and we still carry on. Am I worried about TDD? Not really. I'm sure even if the Discord itself dies, the community will rebuild itself, and find its place elsewhere.

Maybe one day the domain will be repurposed into a mini Dojo-like portal.

PS @ admins - was spamming a problem? Just wondering because I'm always trying to get the server to behave and it was always at the back of my head as being a partial culprit.

Spamming has kinda been a problem since the forums died but it's just because of bot accounts constantly trying to make new posts that we have to disapprove. Bots are pretty much the only thing that posts here nowadays so

Damn. Just seeing the old html post typing thing hits me a wave of nostalgia lol. This forum will always be a huge part of me as a person. I'll never forget the memories, good or bad.

Amazing memories made here, TDD team. First joined DD all the way back in 2009 as a simple beginner (back in the Adam,Skype,Damon, Chimaera etc. times lol), hung out with a few future Elites in the Beginner's Hall lol - got intermediate after much effort lol.
Made it a huge personal goal to be part of the DDC and finally made it in with my Pokemon animation. I remember being hyped by the communities' engagement with the Obstacle Course Collab! Shadowlith Collab was something else, still get excited about it to this day!
I really appreciate the team for helping keep the TDD community together. Met some awesome peeps here that I see are still moving forward to bigger things today. Will never forget the best online community I've ever been a part of.

RIP DD. This place was actually quite great for me during my more formative years, in terms of memories, friends, pursuing creative work, and in general striving to better myself in the things I do.

this forum was such a huge part of my childhood, i used to spend all day posting here and reading everything that was posted. so much of my inspiration came from members of this forum who created wonderful things. special shoutouts to Rez, Xavier, Flame, Memphis, BM (even tho you've been a huge dick lately), HBomb, Olix Flix, Senzo, and probably many others that i can't think of.

Huge effort to keep DD alive for such a long time even after the original forums died. No matter what happens the community seems to keep going strong and I'm happy it's still so active in the discord.

GG TDD. Many good times were had. This forum was the reason I even made a discord way back when. Hard to believe it hasn't even been that long ago, relatively speaking. Cheers everyone.
